Gentlemen's Rules:  Marty  (saringas321) has offered to get two trophies or plaques for the winners.  Thanks Marty.

This event is more of a fun way for friends to catch fish and brag than it is a tournament.  The rules? are only meant to ask everyone to start and end on an even keel and to prove-up what they catch.   All participants are asked to have fun, build friendships, share knowledge, and bring in some food to eat.   We are probably going to have enough filets to provide a small city with a meal.

Therefore, here are a few guidelines:

Each fisherman will keep a creel, i.e. single man team.  An ante of $10 is required to claim a prize.  1/2 of the pot will go to the person with the heaviest stringer of catfish; the other 1/2 will go to the person with the heaviest single catfish.  Tara (Catfish_Addict) will hold the $$$.  Each person should get the $10 to her on the honor system, preferably before the weigh-in.

Times:  Daybreak until 12:00 P.M.  Entrants should be at cleaning station by 12:00 P.M. or earlier.  "Daybreak" should allow everyone to get in at the gate at 6:00 A.M. and to be fishing by 6:40 (daybreak).

Moonset 1:16 a.m. on following day

If you expect to claim a prize, please have witnesses (someone other than your boat partner) and use digital scales for weighing.    Please take pictures or have someone else take digital pictures for posterity and bragging rights.
